How do I stop my wooden steps from creak and squeeking.

I have 2 flights of stairs, I can get under the wooden steps but not the carpeted ones. Its driving us crazy because we will be selling our house so we want to fix this.

You have to find the squeaky loose wood and screw it down tight.. We had to do that with my dads hardwood floors.
