Can I put backsplash tiles on a table?

meaning to say...instead of painting a corner table i'm thinking about putting tiles on top. what is best tiles w/grout or peel and stick backsplash?

Yes.......
You can do this but be aware that when using the table, crumbs etc. will fall into the grout lines (just like on the floor). Either style of tile can be used but peel and stick would be easier. Do you have access to a wet saw? This will be needed to cut the tiles.
Peel and Stick tiles sounds like your best bet for this project
