Can aluminum siding be repaired?

Can dents and holes be repaired? Also, some is missing where a window was taken out.

small holes (nail holes, for example) can be patched with paintable caulk.

larger holes 'can' be patched, but the patch will show....and for this and dents, you have to get 'behind' the panel, which is tricky at best (they overlap, and they're easier to bed in bad ways than good)

where it's missing, you can find flashing and trim strips at the local big hardware store...in white.

For all your holes and dents you can use Bondi. It is normally used in car repair. Follow the directions and sand as needed. You can paint Bondi with either an acrylic or oil base paint. Good luck.

Matching colors is the hard part. If you have a place where a strip can be removed without being unsightly it could be used in conspicuous places. Panels can be disconnected and replaced - there is a tool for it, but it is not easy to use - I would recommend someone experienced.

You can remove panels and bend back out for some dents, and you can repair with automotive body putty and paint. Does your local school have an auto-body class? They might be able to help with work and paint matching.

You might be able to get a home center to match paint if you can bring in a small sample of the siding.
