How about a picture of rug in the room, would make it more accurate to give you advice.

I would pick one of those accent colors from the rug for the color of your curtains.

We have a fairly dark oriental rug on the floor, and chose burgundy leather for our furniture. Our walls are a light tan and window coverings are sheer to allow more light into the room. Consider using light colored pillows, throw blankets, etc to lighten up the room if darkness is an issue.

I have a similar rug, ( and love it) I would personally go with rust reds and beiges and black in order to pull off that Asian look! Find fabric in the rug colors and have throw pillows made and state adding decorative items to complement that room📌😊

I would go with the black furniture. Bring out the light blue of the room. Use silver acccent pieces, and picture frames to decorate end tables, and shelves and add pops of color( such as vases .. Maybe a solid color curtain or shades that match a color in the rug, and patterned pillows on the furniture.
