How do you clean outdoor glass tables?

I have two outdoor glass tables that have hosted plants for years. There are built up hard white hard water stains. I'd like to use them as tables again. I've tried CLR and vinegar/baking soda. Any ideas and recipe for cleaning ideals appreciated.

Try a Heavy Duty Mr. Clean Magic Eraser first, then try lightly scraping. You have nothing to lose at this point if the hard chemicals haven't worked.

I agree with the others: it will take some elbow grease. I have had success using a straight-edge paint scraper to get the majority of the stains/scale off. Then I use either a Brillo pad or some soapy water with ultra-fine sandpaper for the rest. The key to removing the stains without scratching is to use gentle pressure and be patient. Good luck!

Try soaking it for a while with vinegar soaked towels. You will have to work on it by layers to get it off it is thick enough. Soak, scrape and then do it again until it is gone. I do that with the back side of our aquariums where you sometime get a buildup and on the filter housings where it is really common from having water running all the time that builds up just above the water flow level. It will be stubborn, but keep at it and you will have your tables back!
