Halloween is creeping up very fast and if you’re anything like me then you have a bad habit of procrastinating. Even if you didn’t wait until the last minute, you will love this quick and easy Halloween decor tutorial! It’s for awesome DIY Floating Candles that you can make in an afternoon! They’re inspired by the ones in the Harry Potter films but can simply be spooky “floating” candles to display all around your home for Halloween. I’ll show you how we made them below!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Paper Towel Rolls | Americana Decor Multi-Surface Paint in Cotton Ball | Hot Glue Gun | No Flame Tea Light Candles | Fishing Line | Craft Knife

Step 1: Cut your paper towel rolls into various sizes as you please, then take your hot glue gun and glue around the top of the roll. Also add glue down the sides to look like wax drips.
Step 2: Once the glue has dried, paint a few coats of Americana Multi-Surface Cotton Ball onto the entire roll. Allow to dry.
Step 3 : Now, hot glue a ring around the top opening of the roll and insert the candle.
Step 4: Thread fishing line through the top of your paper towel roll and tie a knot. You will be able to hang them with a simple command hook from your ceiling with ease.
