I have 4 from the 50's and early 60's, They are from Rome. Time and infrequent cleaning have yellowed them. Any ideas?

http://restorationproduct.com/shop/groomstick/ for dry clean or I would try peroxide for liquid cleaner. If all else fails there is white spirits, it has a volatile smell and can burn skin so be careful.

If they have value (sentimental or $) I would get professional help. Ask a jewelry store or antique dealer who does this sort of restoration in your area.

Thank you ladies. I thought of the vinegar and the peroxide because the older Roman marble is harder and less porous. My husband however decided to try a product called Tough Stuff which we use to clean fabric. The label said it could be used on porcelain. It is a foam. Crazy it works. Spray on and then leave a moment then wipe off with a micro cloth.
