What is the easiest way to get rid of roots in my yard

We have had several bushes and trees cut down and are left with several roots. We want them gone.

Sawzaw , reciprocating saw and cut them humps out of the ground. I did this to the roots in the front driveway. Everyone ALWAYS TRIPS ON THEM so I had to take matters into my own hands. I cut those babies up. It took a little while and I had to rebend my blade a few times which sounds scary but it got done. Just make sure to be as careful as you can be with a power tool and wear eye protection. Lol. Good luck with your roots! Also, it's.best to use power tools when kids are gone , a whole lot less stressful. :)
