We recently purchased a home that has real brick floors in the foyer, hall and sunroom - not sure whether to damp mop with only water, use a special cleaner, etc.?
Wet Mop to get the dirt and dust off then with a dry mop to get the wetness off and shine it.
I use a bromm that's just like a scrub brush and put one or two cups of white vinegar in my bucket of hot water, then use my shop vac to clean up the gunk. I wipe a floor duster with a rag soaked in grout sealant as wax for a miraculous shine!
