    You don't. Well, maybe if you hermetically seal whatever it is you want desnaked. They eat things far worse than them..

    Btoken egg shells and moth balls. Spread broken egg shells where you want to keep them from. And some crushed up moth balls in the same area. They don't like the scent of the moth balls and won't cross the egg shells because it will cut the bellies. If you can find the nest hole pour some cheap mouth wash down the hole and the fill it in.

    Heath is spot on. I'd also add sharp garden rocks around. They don't like slithering over the rocks. Don't use the smooth type.
