Has anyone ever used that garage epoxy paint in their basement?

If you are getting water into your basement... you may have to consider checking to see if you have to address the drainage from the alley way... it may be sloping toward you house and you need to have the area graded away from your property.... if you have 'weeping tile' it may need to be repaired (or new installed... and the outside of the foundation sealed)

if you are having problems now... they will only get worse if you don't take care of it.

Is the seepage coming through the walls or around the perimiter of the basement floor? If seepage through the walls there is a product that can be "painted" on that is supposed to stop all seepage. It has been a long time since I considered using the product and can't remember the name. Go on line and do some exploring.

I've never done one of these floors and I know that it takes a lot of work to do it properly so it will last. That said, I think it would be ideal for your use. While prepping and painting the floor I would be looking for a solution for blocking alley runoff from entering my home.
