this started life as a workbench which for some reason my husband thought I would like. I did not want a workbench so used it for my china. The section on the left had a big bin in it. I guess for scraps. I tlled the top which of course would not be tiled as a workbench. This was not meant to be divided with shelves. It is just plywood. It has short legs. I think it would have worked fine as a work bench and it works fine to display china too.
