How to remove odor from the kitchen towels

What do the smell of?

Soak in white vinegar overnight and wash as usual. I use baking soda with a vinegar rinse.

wash only the towels in a small load in hot water to which you have added a half cup or more of vinegar.....add vinegar again in the rinse.....dry them without softeners....

Try soaking them in a mixture of water with peroxide and baking soda before you wash them. You should also check you washing machine to make sure the smell is not from a dirty washing machine. The peroxide and baking soda worked for my daughter-in-law after her boys got the stomach bug and threw up all over their bedding.

I use bleach and the hottest water possible, but I'm with you.. most of the time I can still smell grease

Is the smell coming from your washer? Buy a washing machine cleaner.

Do a presoak in white vinegar and hot water. Then wash

hi Vee, what do you do that make the towels?One way I do is use white vinegar in the wash and I hang them out side to dry. I also hang kitchen towels when wet on back of washroom door to dry until I do the wash. Hope this helps you. Jackie

Presoak in baking soda water. Wash as usual - then line dry outside in the sunshine to dry.
