Mix a drop of dish soap into a 1/4 cup of vinegar in a shallow bowl. Put an Apple core in the center. If the strong scent of vinegar bothers you, put 1/8 of a cup of water in to dilute the vinegar before you add the drop of dish soap. Do not stir the mixture. Also, one drop of dish soap is plenty, any more and the fruit flies will smell it.

The fruit flies will be attracted by the Apple and vinegar and die from the dish soap.

Raid house and garden. Spray up in the air around the room. Close the doors for about an hour. Apple cider vinegar with a drop of dish soap in a bowl covered with foil or plastic wrap. Poke small holes in the covering and set where the flys are concentrated.

Put Apple Cider Vinegar in a tiny glass bowl, drop in a tiny drop of dish soap. Cover it with clinging clear plastic. Stab the plastic about 4 times with a fork. The fruit flies will be drawn to the ACV, they will crawl into the holes. May take a day or two to start working! But, it's great!!

Hello, buy Hot Shot No-Pest Strip2. I managed a bar and we had them from the yeast in the beer. It gets rid of them quickly. I have them here at home in case we have fruit in the house. Best thing I have ever found. They cost less than $10 for a pack. I got mine at Lowes but you could probably get them at home depot or order them on walmart.com.
