Fireplace Progress and Take-Backs
Remember this post where I wrote about all the fireplace design decisions we made?
Well I take it all back.
Turns out Josh hates white marble tile. (Hate may be a strong word but I’m pretty sure that’s what he said.) And, he doesn’t like wooden surrounds either. So pretty much everything I said we were going to do, we’re not. Guess I jumped the gun a little when I said “we” made some big design decisions. Sooo, back to the drawing board. I have a mantel now..but it is needing replaced..and where I live Cypress is very much a part of the place. I have hard wood floors and a stacked stone fire place, the cypress will look good.. But finding the right piece is hard to find. I have people that go out into the swamps looking for me.
