Changing Stainless Steel Appliance finishes to Black Stainless

I don't know if bright stainless can be stained to be darker or black... try talking to a good auto body shop or a company who refinished appliances. I know they can be painted... but not if they can be stained.

They sell panels or you can repaint them with appliance paint.

I've spray painted a white enamel stove and a white fridge with black appliance paint, but you have to use multiple coats. It was very time consuming. Stainless steel is a whole different creature. I'm with Marty, I'd have them professional painted.

Contact your appliance provider. they may be able to change out. the exterior. my dishwasher has a panel that can be flipped.

FYI - easy way to clean stainless appliances. Use Lemon Pledge instead of stainless appliance cleaner. With Pledge, you can clean the whole appliance or small spots! Cleaning small spots with Pledge, is easy any does not show. Before with Stainless cleaner, you had to clean the entire surface. And then you were lucky if you did not have streaks and have to do it 2 or 3 times.

Contact the customer service dept on what to do and if this is possible. Have the make and model numbers ready.
