What can I do with these cardboard tubes?

This is a paper tube for a plotter printer. It is about 3' tall and 1/8" thick. Very sturdy. Hate to just throw them away.

    * Preserve old quilts by rolling onto tubes

    Or: fragile tablecloths/tapestries/curtains/etc/etc

    * Store fishing rods ( broken down ) in them

    * Tack one to the back of a door to hold plastic grocery bags

The list can go on & on & on!!

Know any Medieval actors or sword lovers? They can use them to practice their sword swings. (Really, my son used to use them on sharpened edged weapons.)

use them for table legs...wouldn't be too hard, just need a smaller circumference inside wood piece to glue to the table and then put them over the inside piece with more glue, this will hold them in lace against the flat portion of the bottom of the table., and presto a table leg.
