White vinegar is an odor neutralizer and will get rid of the odor. One part vivegar to one part H2O and make sure it penetrates the pad under the carpet if it was also soiled. For the stain I would sprinkle a good layer of baking soda and leave it set till it finishes bubbling and wicking up the Vinegar. Brush the wet BS into a sust pan and discard. Sprinkle more BS. and wait till it wicks up more vinegar And brush up again. Repeat till the BA stays dry. The BS is deodorizing as it removes the vinegar. Pet urine can also be wicked up out of the carpet wirh BS if you catch it immediately.

Get up as much urine as possible. Pour hydrogen peroxide, the cheap stuff in the brown bottle, on the spot. Let sit a few minutes and then blot up. I have an old Cool Whip container that I put in a drop or two of blue Dawn and add about an inch of warm water. Then I use a brush and work the solution into the spot. Let dry. I have beige carpet and no stains. Takes out any body stains, blood and poopy accidents too.

Use a solution of one part white vinegar and water to cover the urine stain completely. Sprinkle the vinegar solution with a layer of baking soda. Baking soda is an odor neutralizer. Mix a solution of a hydrogen peroxide and dish detergent.

WET the whole area with cold tap water & rub in. GET a spray bottle & use the following solution: A little Dawn, half bottle of apple cider vinegar (or reg if that's what u got handy), 1/4 bottle of lemon juice, a little peroxide or rubbing alcohol & finish filling the rest of the bottle with cold tap water. Spray on the whole area, rub in until it suds up with paper towels. Leave it to dry completely. Vacuum if desired to get the little bits of paper towel off the carpet. The vinegar & lemon juice will discourage the animal from ""visiting"" that same spot again. You could also use a carpet cleaning machine with this solution to do your whole carpet from time to time & the animal will get outa the habit of using it for a toilet. ALSO, putting down puppy training pads in different spots over the house will attract the animal to it instead. We use this on our carpets & it works great!!

As a dog sitter I have this problem now and then. I use Nature's Miracle. Just follow the directions on the bottle.
