I agree with Shirley Warn! If it is in the bathroom, whether it is the sink or tub drain, take out the hair first, then put down the drain a quarter cup baking soda and then up to a cup of vinegar. Let it foam for a bit until you don't hear it anymore, I sometimes put down a little more vinegar to make sure all the baking soda has done its job. Then pour a gallon of boiling water down the drain to rinse everything away. It should have cleaned all the junk out of the pipes, but you may have to repeat it if it doesn't. If it doesn't work, wherever the plug is, it is too far down and would probably need to be snaked to remove it. Do the baking soda/vinegar/boiling water to the kitchen sink too. This is safe for all pipes and the vinegar will clean up the pipes and the drain due to its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Good luck, this should work for you!
