Organic Gardening - Composting

I wrote this blog post about four different methods of composting, The methods outlined are Heap, Bin, Tumbler and Vermicomposting. I'm personally in the market for a new means of composting because we lost our bin in Hurricane Sandy last year. Even after writing this I'm still undecided! What method do/would you choose?

Wire, in a circle. Ours has about 4" x 4" square openings. Just dump compostables in- - - potato peels, veggie ends (carrot tops, lettuce leaves, apple cores, orange peels, etc., grass clippings. When Mr. cleans out the chicken house, that goes in the compost also. Let Mother Nature do her thing - - - no 'turning' the pile, etc., It may take a year or two, but we don't care. It's easier than trying to "turn" all that - - - we have three piles/bins going so have time to wait.

Jean, I love the idea of having separate piles in different stages!
