Beauty in Pallet Wood

This isn't really a project (yet) I just wanted to show you why I enjoy old wood so much. Sanding an old piece of pallet wood is like opening a Christmas present, you never know what is inside.... The pictures really don't do justice to this single piece of old wood but believe me it is beautiful. It is very rare that I fake age wood for a project just because the real thing is so much more awesome.......Now I need to decide what project to incorporate this into, it may be set aside waiting the perfect moment!
Mother Nature is an artist in her own class!
The opposing saw kerfs are awesome!
Browns, greys, silvers, blacks.....
