They are probably there because they have an ample food source, namely grubs. If you can get rid of the grubs, they will move on looking for their meals elsewhere. Castor oil is another repellent as are used cat litter, human hair and moth balls. Place/pour any of those into the holes that the they use to come in/out of their little underground kingdom.
