The long-time-coming staircase banister revival.

This project has long been on my hit list. Finally, checked off. Lots of sanding, priming, sanding, painting painting and painting but I am super happy with the results. The orangey wood was crying out for help! In an ideal world, we would have ripped up the carpet and put down hardwood or painted the stairs but for now that is on the bottom of my to do list.
13 years old, time for a facelift.

Thanks! Just an update, the black on the balusters is wearing away. Everybody grabs hold so it has taken its toll. I am going to touch them up and then put a clear coat on the black paint. Hopefully this helps the longevity.
