We finally finished remodeling our kitchen, after nearly one year, because we don't live there! This will be our holiday home, and I am so glad that we now have a new kitchen to use. So after nearly one year the kitchen is finished! As i'm not a carpenter, building the island was a big challenge but I've done it and i'm very proud. If you'd like a reminder what my kitchen was like when we bought the house take a look at my previous post...just wow!! Ok, here's how it came to completion!
We started with this...
and that's the result after work...see my previous post..but still missing the island.
And here it is !! et voila comme on dit en francais!!! I just love how the island came out, so beautiful!
The first step was creating the island from an old buffet which we got for free. The other side of the island consists of my woodwork! I built it with the amazing wolfcraft saw!
Trying to make the front
Closing the sides
Then put concrete on the top
and tada!!!
I'm so proud that I wanted to share my project with you all!
Thanks for taking a look!!!
