    Baby H,

I can not tell you what a slab would cost in your area. There are too many variables involved like slope, access, quality, sealing, fibers, steal re-enforcement and most of all time involved. It is not a large area. It should not be that bad. Provided you are asking for a price you should look under the "Find button" on Hometalks Homepage. You can search for local contractors in your ...»

area. Get three bids and have them bid on the same thing "apples to apples" Consider all the things that I listed above....they are very important. You want a "strong slab" that will not give you problems in the future. You can save money by sealing it yourself. Check in to "Stamped Concrete" It offers patterns, colors and wash-ability. It is also not far off in cost from standard poured concrete slabs from half-wit contractors.

16x13=208sf @ 4" thickness = 2.568 cubic yards @ $ 110cy = $ 305.00 incl sales tax IF you can get that amount delivered w/o incurring the min load charges,,, IF it takes 4guys 1 day to prep, form, carry, place, screed, finish, & joint the slab, another $800 isn't out of line,,, IF you decide to use the contractor to spec & order conc, be prepared to add more,,, IF you use a 4" thickness, you won't need steel, mesh, OR fiber,,, 6" & over, be prepared to have some steel added but any $ spent ...»
for fiber's a waste,,, bear in mind the costs mentioned do not include insurance, overhead, profit, & addl mobilization costs,,, the 3 estimate suggestion's probably good however i like to find the right guy 1st, pick his brain, decide on what i want, get quotes based on my specs, then give the 1st guy the last look,,, good luck !
