An Easy Way to Make Baseboard Cleaning Suck Less

Have you had a good look at your baseboards recently? Dirty baseboards are like bad eyebrows. Once you notice them, they’re the only thing you notice.
The issue is this: Getting the gook off your baseboards can be back breaking (okay, fine, back hurting) work. Unless you’re a small child or a yoga master, cleaning a couple hundred feet of baseboards is the opposite of fun. What to do?
Hack the job with a squeegee and your vacuum cleaner!

Here’s how it works: Stick the handle of the squeegee into the end of your vacuum’s attachment hose. You aren’t actually turning the vacuum on – it’s just making it easier for you to reach the baseboards. Then, using the squeegee, wipe away the gunk that’s layered on the top of your baseboards. This makes baseboard cleaning simple and fast because you can scoot the squeegee along your baseboards at a good clip.

Easy, peesy!

Note: This only works if your vacuum has a tube attachment. If it doesn’t, you can probably use the back of a broom handle, or try this easy process instead
