Here's how you can make a doll bed organizer and closet with drawer storage and canopy top made from an over-the-toilet-organizer! My friend Michelle took an old broken over-the-toilet-organizer and turned it into a satin and lace doll bed organizer. She is always finding broken cast-offs and making something beautiful. This time she out did herself. She is a grandma and it shows. This could also double as a canopy bed.
She found a discarded, broken organizer for the bathroom and cut off unneeded legs to make it into an adorable doll bed with satin canopy. Then she painted it to make it look clean and new.
It even came with a handy drawer to store doll clothes or related items under the bed. It had some rick-rack on it that she also reused.
More of the pieces she took and placed above the bed under the canopy.
This was the base of the bed-doll organizer. Then she found an old wedding dress and cut it to make the pretty part of the bed.
There was plenty of satin and lace to make a canopy and curtains on the bed fit for a queen doll.
She put some over the top and some to form the curtains. Here the bed-closet canopy is closed.
She screwed pop-cycle sticks with cup hangers and made a storage area for more clothes for the doll. How handy for little girls to play dress up for their dolls.
Here's the beautiful canopy that can double as a bed or doll clothes closet organizer. I think a little girl would find it could suffice for both with a simple blanket and pillow for the doll. How darling! Any little girl would love to have this in her bedroom to play with her friends!
