I have a short wooden walk outside. Gets slippery when wet. What to do

    When our walkway is slippery or icy we put down clay cat litter. It does not harm then environment and helps dry up the area at the same time. I do not know if this will help you, but you might put down step strips to put on slippery steps that have sand ingrained in them. They can be purchased at home improvement stores. Ask for strips for slippery steps. Hope this helps Scott!

    Hi Scott. You can paint them with a slip resistant paint.

    Most home centers sell strips that can be attached to steps or walkways. They are self-adhesive. They have a texture similar to sandpaper so it keeps the area from being slippery.
