You didn't finish your question but if it is the first time you cleaned your self-cleaning oven, it will stink. After that not so bad. Just be sure you have the windows open, fan going or door open.

Pat, thank you but I have cleaned the oven before (the space for my problem didn't give me enough room to finish) but fumes coming out of top of the door which is enamel left stains.. I tried the soft scrub for stove tops, also vinegar & baking soda. Can't move the stain. Help would be great!!!

  • I always run the self-clean cycle when I can have the windows open.

Put a fan on for air circulation and open boxes of baking soda

Hi Ann & thank you. I ran out of space to finish my problem. Odor wasn't the issue. The fumes that came out of the top of the door which is enamel left stains & I can't get them off. I tried soap & a soft scrubby, the soft scrub for stove tops, then tried baking soda and vinegar. No help. Thank you for responding & help if you have it.
