  • The primary reason for soaking on the floor is the excessive amount of soap scum that builds up on it. While the walls typically only suffer from mildew. If the grout is really bad, a grout saw will remove the offending material and once off you will need to replace what was removed with new and then seal well. If its just really dirty you can use a lot of unwanted elbow grease and a good stiff brush and have at it. In any case once you get it off, seal the tile and grout again to help make it easier next time.

  • Smirdy, I did answer you. I jut may not have been clear about it. You need to use elbow grease and cleaner with scrub brush. I posted about floors also to help understand the difference between the floor and wall issue. If there was a way to soak the walls they would be easy to clean as well. But because they cannot, You will have to go old school and have at it the old fashion way. But the same cleaners that you use on floor will also work on walls. Sorry if you were confused.
