Radiant Orchid Painted Glass Vase

Take a glass vase, like this one from Anchor Hocking, and turn it into an extraordinary piece by adding a brilliant color of paint. I choose Pantone's Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, to create this gorgeous vase. It's a simple project…simply pour the paint into the vase, swirl it around and turn the vase upside down to coat the entire inside surface. The excess paint will drip out and after it has dried, you're left with a stunning home decor accessory.

When you turn the vase upside down in the bowl how do you prevent excess paint from drying and caking around the lip of the vase
