I don't sweat the small stuff, just put it up and use it. Or find a local carpenter to cut down for you. Who in the family didn't measure before purchasing? Hmmmm. . .🤔 It happens all the time, you can fix this! ☺
Center it on the wall and let it be.
With what you have on the edges of the wall, perhaps you could add to the wall by putting the same edging on the left side. This would buy you a little extra length to the area and perhaps it will not be as noticeable. Otherwise I would just put it in where you want it under the TV and not worry about it. A half inch over on each side is not enough to worry about.
I agree with Nancy Turner. Is there any way to add trim to the left side to match the right side? I see that the wall leads into another room. What about framing that doorway? Would that be possible?
I agree with the ones telling you to "not sweat the small stuff." If under the TV is where you want it, just put it there. Also, I was wondering where the doorway on the right goes? If that area is not used much, put the left side even with the wall and let the extra "hang over" the right side.
I looks like you actually need a longer shelf or make a longer console that will hide the wires
