Suggestion for renewing kitchen cabinets without painting.

The cabinets are a dark wood in real good shape. Don't want to paint them white. Also would like to see some pictures of wet bar for basement being finished.

Photos of you kitchen would help us help you Jean. Without seeing them the only thing I can think of would be new hardware.

Mom pickled her dark kitchen. It worked for her. You could choose the color to pickle it with.

Haven't seen what you have, but did see a kitchen makeover where the owner wallpapered the inside panels. of the cabinets.

The knobs/handles/hinges can be changed in little time & can give very different look. Or, take off an upper cabinet door or 2, leave em open, panting or contact paper inside a different color gives a nice eye-catching look. Also if dish ware isn't up to be displayed in such an open manner, you could hang some material like a curtain over open sections(something neutral &sheer is more subtle but still give enough dish coverage.) Another thing...you can also find new cabinet doors, in another color and just put up the others in case you wanted/needed tomb change back.
