yes, two different companies to do separate jobs. I did not like 3 different colors, not look good. Yes, I will need good luck on the painting.

Hmmm..if you hired a big box home improvement store to do both the projects, you should have been given the opportunity to select the color. If the products were to be from different manufacturers, then you should have been given the opportunity to select all the colors. I would express my displeasure with the manager of the store; perhaps you can at least push for a discount on paint if you decide to paint. I assume you are looking at painting the gutters/downspout and not the fascia/soffit/rake,etc (wrapped trim) But before you get too upset, we often have gutters installed that do not match the metal trim. It is rare you can match them exactly, so a complementary (with an "e") look is often the answer. Tim

You also have to remember you have two different types of materials, so coloring can always be different. I agree with Hewitt, you need to express you unhappiness. Good luck remember spray painting isn't always the easiest thing to do. Make sure you cover everything or you will have a bigger mess on you shingles and house.

@Rhino Shield..... oh yeah, plan to cover everything on shingles and house first before to spray paint. I think it is more easier to spray paint than to paint cuz of complication to paint on edges/gaps between.

Good luck! Sounds like a lot of trouble and aggravation in order to cover up someone else's lack of communication with you. I would not be a happy camper about this.

That is the reason most homes are trimmed in white .
