New stove color doesn't match anything else in the room.

The stove is white, all else is a light beige including the fridge. This is an apartment so I can't do anything "permanent". The stove is nice but the lone whiteness is very intrusive.

Wright you're property manager requesting permition to repaint the range in almond, be sure you have permissio in wrighting before starting, you can find appliance paint in most Big Box DYI stores such as Home Depot and Lowes. You will also need the Green 3M scrub pads to remove the high gloss of the original paint And denatured alcohol to wipe it down after sanding.

Tdway47. Thank you so much. I thought repainting an appliance would require spray painting.

Some stove/dishwashers have a front panel that can be flipped to the other side and is a different color, usually black.

I think you must add more white to the room so the Stove doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. eg: Canisters - Blind - Crockery could be a combination of white & Beige.........etc........

Go to the big box store. Get a roll of construction paper from the paint department. Paint a geometric design on the paper in beige and white. Cut to the size of the fridge and use double stick foam tape, also at the big box store. Buy accessories that are in white in the kitchen. Buy a cheap dark brown rug for the floor (think Dollar Store) and paint a similar geo design on rug. When you get ready to move, use Goof Off to remove any residue from the tape on the fridge. Good luck.

Thank you. The artist in me likes those ideas and it's good to know about the goof off.

Talk to manager and explain it doesn't match, ask if you can paint the frig, and get a new cover for the dishwasher.

Add white accessories throughout the kitchen to tie it in. "Matchy-Matchy" is boring anyway!

Thank you for the accessory idea. It seems to be the general consensus so it must work.

There are spray paints designed for appliances and because this can't be a permanent change, I would try a new product Rustoleum just came out with. It's called peelable primer and you spray it on before your color of choice and when you're ready for a change, you simplay peel it off! I got some at Home Depot and can't wait to try it!

    And it's cheap!
