My machine came with a fabric cover being a sport model.

Id suggest fashioning a cover like this- a canvas like fabric or perhaps quilted fabric cozy. The pocket is a nice addition too that you may want to consider.

Finally it could be emblished to suit your style or plain depending on your asthetic.

These videos are good, but before you sew it together, put the cover on the machine inside out and pin where you want your seams. I've found just using measurements without fitting makes a larger cover than I wanted. My machine stays on the desk, so I didn't bother putting in an opening for the handle. If you use light weight fabric, such as cotton, you could add a piece of elastic to the bottom edge to make it more fitted.

I’m cheap. Mine gets a towel thrown over it.

One of the most popular & common pattern companies has a pattern for this, I forget just which one. I modified mine to fit under machine & wrap from back bottom, over top, & drop down in front to cover it.

Until I got mine made. A large pillow case, pillow cover, or sham was substitute. A large kitchen appliance cover has been known to work.

For those who may not be able yet to see one, might find useful a duffle bag with its bottom removed so that it slips over the top of machine.

    Hope these tips help.

If you plan to carry it around or to store it in a closet or cupboard.. I would recommend spending $30 at Walmart and getting a generic hard case... lots more protection for the delicate bits that stick out and can get broken off.
