if they are water marks, oil will work -- some recommend mayonnaise, I like olive oil, tung oil or any other light weight oil for furniture
If the other recommendations don't work try Restore-A-Finish. Available at Lowes or Hard wear stores. Pick the color that is closest to your finish. Put a little on with one cloth, rub off with another soft cloth. Wipe in direction of the grain. You will want o keep this product on hand. About $8.00 can , which will last you forever.
I love Restore-A-Finish and agree with Lisa S. on using it. I use this on so many things and it comes in several wood shades that you can find one to match your wood. If none of this works, you will need to sand it and restain it and apply a poly top coat (use a water based polycrylic).
Try the oil first. I actually used leather oil. I had left white marks from cleaning something else. Thought it was ruined so used it to set my bridles on while I oiled them. Amazed to find the marks gone. Rub it on the whole table though or you will tell where you used it. Wipe the residue off with a damp rag and dry.
