Office Makeover in Progress

Hi friends! I’m currently working on our Office (and hopefully someday) Craft Room and giving it a makeover. It’s not done but I thought I would share some of the progress with you so far. If you remember last week I shared the Old Ceiling Fan that I covered with Fabric to give it a new look. This room is very small and is our office, spare room, junk room and catch all too. Do you have one of those?? So I am slowly making some changes and I have a vision….lol. Its going to be Black and White with some POPS of yellow. I am loving wire baskets so I have picked them up at thrift stores for a few bucks each. I hung the above on the wall and I’ll find some printed In and Out signs for them. The desk was a thrift store find probably 15 years ago and it was a weird green color and I painted it white back then. It’s due for a new paint job but for now we’ll call it shabby chic. I found this cute black n white modern floral print frame and I also found this cute monogram K mug for pens for $1 each. I loved this cute lattice wire corner shelf rack and it fits perfect there for office supplies. I Love LOVE love this mirror. It was $10 at a thrift store and was a gold color plastic and I spray painted it black. I just take projects like this out back on an old sheet and tape off the mirror area and spray 3-4 coats and it looks beautiful. My hubs loves Cigars once in a while like on a sunny day when he waters the lawn or on the weekend if I have a glass of wine in the Evening we’ll sit outside. I took his Cigar box because it goes well and we have notes and notecards in there. On the other side I hung these drapes that I made from two sheets found thrifting for $5. I just opened up the hems to make the rod pockets. I love the black embroidered florals and the rod I found at Ross for $7.99 and it has diamond like Crystals on the ends. I also spray painted these two ornate lovies, this one below I left with the vintage floral artwork and the one above is a cute mirror that reminds me of the mirror in Snow White….lol. Both were that weird plastic gold color and were a few bucks too. We needed a new chair and my sis-in-law’s office was moving (thank you Tracy) and they were giving some office things away so this chair was FREE. I don’t like the color so it will get a little slip cover soon but free is a great price so I’ll share soon it’s new look. If you’re noticing some cat hair on the seat, yep I didn’t catch that til later so just keeping it real. Our kitties love to lounge where ever they can and this room is really sunny during the day. I found this darling Chandelier for $8 and want to find a place to hang it because it’s so darn cute!!!! Maybe right above the desk…hmmm. Oh and I loved this little sign that I found in Target for $2 in that dollar section area. I Love crowns and Tiaras (and pretend or wish that I am a Princess some days…lol) so I’ll find a perfect spot to hang this too. So I hope you enjoyed the Office Makeover in Progress. I’ll keep working on the cleaning out of the other side and I want to put a craft table up, and a gift wrap station and maybe a little sewing area. I have some work to do huh??? lol.
