humidifier. If you don’t have a little steamer type, find a clean deep pot, add water and your choice of spices...cinnamon and cloves with orange peels, or pine needles, spearment leaves..let simmer.

Buy a dehumidifier put water pots on a wood stove. Also can use cans of water of crating if on the floor. Another way is open a window about 1/2 inch overnight. Another is boil water in an open pot on the stove during the day.

  • this usually happens when the humidity is very low and the temperatures are lower (ie WINTER). Adding a little moisture to your air (humidifier, even a pot of boiling water on the stove) or to your skin (moisturizer) can help reduce it.

If you can, have several plants and vases sitting around in which you can keep lots of water. Dust with microfiber cloths or clothes dryer cloths. A tabletop fountain can make a difference, too. You could try plastic runners over the carpet, but sometimes that backfires! Best wishes! 😇
