DIY Holiday Decor - Glittered Pinecones
One year, I had lots of full pine ones. I put a soda bottle in the middle and hot-glued cones all around the bottle. I put one on top. I used spray snow all over the cones, and stuck in mistletoe and holly and berries for color. Today, I would blend in a strand of battery operated lights. That was one of my favorite centerpieces ever! 😇
They look great in a basket! Add some battery-operated twinkle lights, then stick in some fake poinsettas and maybe some small ornaments, whatever you have. Little birds are really cute. Glue them to a skewer or chopstick so you can poke it down into the pine cones. If it's a large basket, put florist foam in the bottom. Wrap a big ribbon around the outside, tie a big fluffy bow, and use a little hot glue to hold it all in place.
