    Are you smelling gas?? If so, call a plumber - yes, they work on gas lines.

  • Call your local Gas company, generally they will come out for free. Or call the appliance repairman to check for a worn out part.

    Sounds like you need to replace the pilot that is in the lower back of the oven...

    To me, it sounds like your ignitor has gone bad. Go to Replacementparts.com, type in your stove info, serial and model number and ignitor. It will show you what piece you need. Buy it and put it in yourself. You can also get instructions online. If you call the gas company they will red tag your stove and shut it down until you get a professional in to fix it. It's a very easy fix. How do I know? Cause I did it myself.
