Where is it leaking? At a joint? At the filter? Sometimes it can just be repairing the gasket underneath the screen tha just screws off...leftie losie, right ee tightee. Replacing the fixture is a relatively simple task, if you have the right tools. The fixture should come with a schematic photo how to. Pay attention, step by step. if it seems too much, call a plumber...don’t cheap out on the replacement fixture.

It leaks at the end won't shut off all the way. I have taken everything apart from the sink up. and cleaned it. It is 30 years old. I just can't figure out how it is attached to the sink to remove it.

  • If it's 30 years old, it's time for a replacement. We had the same situation and hired a plumber....and we were glad we did! He had a heck of a time getting the old one out (corrosion, etc). It was worth every penny! Good luck!

Get new faucets, or put a gasket on the faucets. The spring time may be a good time for sales, or check your hardware stores now, to see what the prices are., and go to a different store to compare. Gaskets are so cheap, and may last, till a good sale comes. OK? J.

OK, with the other problems that you mentioned, (they don't show up, till we place our ideas) I would have a friend come over and check this for you. The problem may be in the lower connection, and this area, may need replacement, or gasket. Ask someone with plumbing background to check this out. Do let us know how you come out on this, best wishes, J.
