My husband bought me a small hand-steamer made by Pure which I recently used to steam my fabric recliner. I steamed and wiped down with a white towel, I was very impressed with the results, chair looks like new again. It would be worth a try in your chair.

I have found a product called Tuff Stuff works wonders. Have used it on microfiber couch and imitation suede chairs. It seems that when my cats are cleaning themselves, they manage to lick the furniture also. Tuff Stuff can be used on any surface (did my painted kitchen cupboards). It is an aerosol spray can made by Armor. WalMart is one of the stores that carries it.
