Repurposed Book Page Wall Art

Turning discarded books into unique wall art is such an inexpensive, easy project that is unique, beautiful and you can customize it with whatever words you would like on yours! It costs less than $10 to make one.

I use pages from an antique Bible, which was missing the cover when I got it. I use a homemade decoupage solution of glue mixed with water to adhere the pages to a canvas.
Details about this Bible page canvas can be found here - http://knickoftime.net/2014/03/book-page-canvas-wall-art.html
Here's a different version I also made. See more details and information about it here - http://knickoftime.net/2014/06/new-book-page-canvas-art-design.html
And one more version, which can be seen in more detail here - http://knickoftime.net/2014/02/repurposed-book-page-canvas-hymn-art.html

I love this! It is very beautiful. Decoupage is such a difficult art to really master and you seem to have done it!

I have a project I also wanted to use old Bible pages but was afraid of criticism. You've encouraged me to go ahead with that and I thank you. You're work here is beautiful! BTW There is no Golden rule in relation to the Bible, that rule is concerning people. However it does say not to add or take away from the words written in The Word and clearly you haven't done that. I am happy to have inspiration wherever I find it.

@Doodlesnana513 Some people don't like to see them used in craft projects, but my feeling is that if a Bible is not in good enough condition to be held to read, then better to at least do something else with it, instead of throwing it way.
