You may have missed the boat on this one if the ground is frozen. Since you have nothing to lose, I would try keeping them in a paper bag and stored in a dry, dark place like a basement or pantry closet until spring. But this is just a shot in the dark---- tulips really should be in the ground during the cold season to bloom in the spring. Good luck!

Are these bulbs that you didn't plant earlier or are they bulbs that have been in the ground for at least one full bloom cycle?

I just leave them in the ground and they re-bloom the next year.

If they are already planted in the ground they will be fine. They need the cold time in the ground so that they will come up and flower next year. Once they are in the ground the only thing you may want to do is cover the area with leaves as mulch to provide just a little more insulation from the cold. You do not take them up each fall, they are not tender to the cold weather, even in Minnesota.

They must have a dormant time, so put them in the freezer until about January 15th, then into the fridge for another month or so, until the ground thaws, then plant them about 6 to 8" deep and they should bloom.

Hello. You can store them in the freezer or in a paper bag filled with peat moss. Then store them in a cool dry place. I store my bulbs in the basement.

If you did not get them in the ground ,store them in a paper bag in a cool location not cold and in darkness
