I personally think spray paint is the best for plastic. Just be sure to use light coats of paint and let it dry before putting on the next coat. Heavier coats tend to run and that can mess up your project. Good luck!

I personally like Krylon.
Rustoleum has a product that says 'especially for plastic' or something like that right on the can.
I love using Rustoleum spray paint for indoor projects like that.
Krylon or Rustoleum paints are good... but plastics are different! Thus, results may be wildly different from expectations.
Some plastics hold Automotive laquer very well. Polypropylene (for one) holds NOTHING. I don't know what K-cups are made of, but I think it IS polypropylene. You MAY get it to hold for a few weeks....
