Are your trees sheltered by buildings or other trees? Sometimes trees that are over-watered or do not have the correct ground minerals and chemicals will drop leaves early. Maybe you have some extra healthy trees. :)
You need to make a note on you calendar so you can see if they do the same thing next year.
I'd guess that your trees maybe get more sunshine for more hours than the neighbors' trees.
There is reason to be concerned ,temperatures every where have varied from cold back to warm and even hot, confusing trees, shrubs and flowers. As long as they produced for you I would not be concerned.
I live in Montana, and our 5 trees seem to resist the leaves falling until we get some very cold weather. Just frost, below freezing doesn't do it. The leaves die, all turn brown, then hang, till temperature in the teens, That first really cold, they seem to drop 95% of the leaves over night or with a strong wind.,
It's still warm.............
I guess I’ll have to wait until next spring to see if they winterkilled before they will be able to produce.
