    I’ve had the most success with digging it up. Dig deep so you get the roots. It isn’t pretty until the regular grass grows back, but it works pretty well in the long run.

    Buy crabgrass preventer. I put on in spring and in early fall the first year. Then after that in spring each year.

    Oh DEAR! Look around at your neighbors' yards and see what they have. This stuff spreads faster than gossip!!!


    I fought my law for years! Now I use TruGreen and it is gone! I save money on chemicals and they do the work. I have a very small lawn and pay only $40 a month. I was easily spending that on feeding and caring for my lawn.


    The great thing about having a service do it, is if you see weeds, call them and they come back out!


    Keep in mind that if you life in an area with lots of heavy winds or that has blowing storms, those seeds will invade your yard from elsewhere. With a law care provider, they know when to put down the pre-emergence that stops them from germinating.
