Tape upside down cages to pot/planter. Pull the 3 legs together and secure with zip tie. Then start winding garland around the tomato cage. You can put lights or ornaments on as you like.

Easy-peasy! Either twist the free wires at the top using a couple of pairs of pliers, or use thinner wire, rubber bands or twist ties to gather the top wires together. You can use whatever garland you wish and go round and round the tomato cage, starting at the bottom, and thicker is better and easier. You may run your strings of lights around the tree, from bottom to top, or in any other design you like. You can hang ornaments from the garland, the light strings, the cage frame, or all of them. At the top of the cage you can run the garland all the way, or use a topper like an angel or giant bow that sits on top and covers the wires. Add small bows or other decorations. To store the tree after Christmas, set the tree inside a large black trash bag. Close with a couple of twist ties and label the bag with a big tag. Or you could undress the tree if nothing has been glued, store the decorations, and reuse the tomato cage throughout the year for other decor. Or even to grow tomatoes! 😇

Bend the arms of the cage, DOWN and keep doing this, around the cage, and then you can hang your electric lites on the area. Best wishes, J.
