My house is about 14 years old. I want to match the laminate flooring.

The problem is, I haven't seen the exact flooring, and I really would like to match it exactly so it will be seamless. Any ideas?

You could try some Habitat stores or a flooring store that's been around forever and has its own inventory. Good luck.

Is this for the same room or a adjoining room?

You may not be able to match it... and only come close... if it is sort of really close.... take up part of your old floor and mix or lace the new floor into it (like they tell you to pull boards from different boxes) You could also take up the old floor and re-use it in one or more smaller rooms, like bedrooms where the transition would not be as visible. Put the new stuff in the main rooms where the flooring would need to be continuous and the difference would be more noticeable.

Hello Cindy! Here is some good advice about possibly matching your existing flooring. Please click on the link below. You might be able to find what you need:

I would search the garage for old boxes and warranty for the laminate flooring, and contact the manufacturer. They may be able to point you to other retailers the sold it too at discount. If you've got a chunk of the laminate from the garage you can take it shopping with you.

Nope, nothing left over in the garage! Great idea though, thanks!
